Dear High School Me,

You are never going to get the hang of French class - it will be three miserable years of sucking at it stammering "Je ne comprende pas" at the Oral Interpreter during exams.  Do yourself a favor:  start with a new (useful) language like Spanish I your freshman year.  You aren't going ever going to have a need to speak French, but Spanish will become very helpful at your local McDonalds.  Trust me.
